Any tips for algae on glass?

We have morning sun that comes through our back door and I get algae on my glass. Tinting or covering up the window is not going to be an option as far as my wife goes. Is their any more tips or tricks to help with the green dusty stuff? It's a 120 with 40 sump, I do have an alternating light in the fuge. 250 Radiums from 12am til 8pm and I run Purigen that helps a little.

HAHA, we all have to deal with our wifies and we can't push the limits, you know.
Although I always tell her to hush as I'm on a age that most guys want a convertible sportcar, maybe a Harley D not to mention a Boat.
Some has two or three girl friends and never be home in the weekends.
Others dye the hair in the original color to hide the total grey hair that grows faster than hair algae......... sometimes!
Not talking out of experience here.
But she will let me get away with a reef tank as long I tell her what I spend on it, that resulted in a conversation last time but all positive as she ask me if I didn't rather had a convertible or Boat??
Not really knowing now where I'm going with this LOL, but cleaning your glass everyday is like brushing your teeth and if you can do that with a Tunze than IMO all is happy, your Wifie as you don't mess with her opinion on the interior of the house and you for having or being part of the awesome hobby.

Not sure if it's an option but I used to have it bad on my glass and sand too. I started letting that algea grow out on the back glass behind the rock so I can't see it. Since I've started that I have to clean the rest of the glass about a third as much

I can barely remember when I actually had hair, much less enough to dye. I guess I'm buying a new scraper and keep her happy.... I can't lose her, she's smoking hot! I really have no clue why she's stayed with me for 23 years.
