75gal tank with 70-80lbs live rock.

I have a couple small zoa colonies and one mushroom rock.

livestock: 2 perculas, firefish, hermit crabs and emerald crabs.

I really like triggers but am I out of luck or is there a type that I can try? Thanks guys/girls/

I had a blue throat pair in my 90 and had great luck with them very passive didnt mess with shrimp or crabs but its kinda a hit or miss thing.

75 is a little small IMO. I'd go Blue Throat or Sargassum if you wanted to try. Planktonic feeders, but a trigger is still a trigger and some have evil voices in their heads.

Sacrifice the crabs and get a blue throat or crosshatch. I want a cross hatch to be the last fish in my 220 but I don't have any shrimp and don't care if they eat my hermits. I have read many instances where they didn't mess with shrimp and crabs already in the tank but went after new ones that were added.

I have both, a crosshatch and bluethroat. I have hermits and emeralds with no problems. Never had any shrimp so I cant say about those but they don't eat corals, hermits, or emeralds.

I had a bluethoat in a 72 bow reef for a few years without any problems. but like these guys say.. very hit or miss.

i have a small blue throat in a 75 with hermits and emeralds. my favorite fish but i know eventually he will need a bigger tank.

I kept a bluethroat in a mixed reef 90 that had 3 kinds of shrimp, many crabs and tons of coral, never a problem, but I agree, its very hit or miss from what I've read.
