Any Upcoming Sales?

Hello,

I’m just in the fledgling stage of setting up a 150g SPS/mixed reef tank. I have been out of the hobby for over a decade.

I have a tank, a brand new Deltec skimmer/reactor, new Eheim return pumps, and a small handful of miscellaneous items. That leaves a lot to be purchased, including LED lighting, a water purifier, power heads, controllers, overflow, and plumbing fittings. That’s going to be a majority of my start-up cost.

I’m curious if there are typically any upcoming sales this time of year, or if anyone is aware of a decent one coming up. Even 10% would be great. That would save a few hundred dollars.

I would watch used equipment sales on this forum, Craigslist and ebay. Tons of people getting into the hobby due to covid. Bound to be lots of used stuff out there

Good question. BRS just had a sale. I would suggest signing up with a couple of sites for notifications. Myself I have scored some good deals on Black Friday sales and cyber Monday sales.
