My question is I have one and was thinking of getting another but will two on opposite ends of tank work against each other if using the w1 mode? Will they clash waves in the center of tank loosing the wave effect?

I use 2 WP25's in my tank. I have run them together and it hasn't been an issue at all. I now run them on digital timers. One runs for 4 hours, then they both run for 2 hours, then the 1st one shuts off for 4 hours while number 2 runs, then they both run for 2 hours and the cycle repeats over and over. It's like tidal flow in the tank. It's a good way to mix up the flow and keep detritus suspended and therefore filtered out of the water. I suspect the corals and fish are OK with it, heck, they may even like it. But the best thing is, I think it's cool!

Good to know so i guess they do not lose its setting when the timer cuts power.
