I have two led strips along side each other. At a depth of 6 inches one light gives 120 par and the other gives 160 par.
If I have a coral at 6 inches and right under both strips how much par is it receiving? I’m not looking for an exact number, but is there a way I can estimate? Is it as obvious as just adding the two so 280 par? I feel like it’s not but let me know thanks

It is so easy - just ad them if they are in the same spot. If they not in the same spot - you need to measure the spread and if one of them give x par at the spot you have your coral and the other measure y par at the same spot - the actual PAR for the coral is x+y par in that spot

Sincerely Lasse
