Any way to make large sand grain smaller?

i bought 20lb of Hawaiian back sand from Carib sea to replace my white sand from instant ocean

the trouble is, i have a sand sifting goby. the grain size is like the size of his head, is there any way to grind it or something?

i also prefer smaller grain sand anyway

i was going to ask home depot or lowes to see if they grind rock and maybe the sand but..., i feel like thats a stupid question

Got a hammer or return bag/buy the right type. sand is the cheapest thing you'll put in the tank

it took forever but... i guess you could say it worked. there is alot of deviating in the size but it is what it is

IMO you’ll spend a lot less time money and effort just going to your local Petsmart/Petco or LFS and getting the right size of sand, vice doing any DIY.

I suppose DIY is possible, but it would have to be a specialized large industrial machine.

I would say mortar and pestle but buying one would cost as much as a new bag of sand
