Any with SPS and skimmerless?

Are the SPS corals healthy? How did you like it? Was the maintenance hard?
I have a 45g.

I think it all depends on how one runs their tank (low or high bioload would certainly make a difference). I know many SPS reefers that run their skimmer part time or not at all for a few weeks to keep their NO3 up. I on the other hand tend to have a heavy hand while feeding so I tend to have to run mine more often. I also prefer my nitrates a little higher than most too though ;Nailbiting

No skimmer here, sps are good and parameters are fine. I only have a couple fish and a huge cheato fuge and a secondary display fuge full of Xenia.

Even without the skimmer I still struggle to keep nutrients up

No skimmer in a 16 gallon. last few years seems ok but admittedly colors and growth on acros not as good as others.
