A black fin McKoskers wrasse and a purple and green blasto. The blasto looks good but the wrasse is just laying on the bottom. He is upright and not breathing super fast so i expect it is just shipping stress and he will perk up Giving him peace and quiet.

That's the first page in the wrasse playbook.....look like death warmed over on arrival. He should perk up in a couple of hours. I usually have wrasses eat with in a few hours of arrival if they are healthy.

Nice!!!!! I am a Wrasse fanatic.....so I am excited for you! I agree he should perk up before long!

Man don’t you just love this hobby!?!

Really just sitting back and enjoying the deep blue sea right in your living room, colorful fat fish swimming around, animals shaped like sticks, doughnuts and little eyeballs make it all worth it!

Concealed carry in California...isn't that an example of an oxymoron? LOL Everyone in the Northwest has a rifle in the pickup window and something under the seat or in the glove box. Not me though I depend on my neighbors good aim since I am likely to shot my own foot. Be careful out there and I hope you do well in class. Hope you never have to use your license. No offense intended I hope none taken.

My lfs had their 14 year anniversary today. Lots of good deals! Picked up some good stuff. Including a trio of orange bar gobies!

Weekly algae scrubbing of the rocks, and trip to Harbor Freight and mounted 4 frags including gluing a 2" x 1" gsp mat to the back wall of the tank (love that look) .

Ordered a cheap tall night stand from Home Depot for an side cabinet build for the new (used) apex (purchased from a R2R member via the forums) and other electronics.

Got new contacts today, good thing and a bad thing. Tank looks, but I can see the algae better.

Prepping for a 40g water change. Procrastinating really. Water change is easy, siphoning detritus, not my favorite!

So I get home this evening and the first I always do..(its a habit)..lol..is look over to my tank just as I step foot in the house, my eyes are scrambling all over viewing the tank...just to make sure everthing is okay... "WHAT"!!![emoji51] I notice right away some type of invasion[emoji89] in the tank... I rush over and grab my head[emoji33]... It was an anchor with a chain wrapped around it. My son purchased from Penplax (made of resin) and placed it in my tank As a gift for me... I thought It was iron* I was going to have a [emoji174]heart attack. Then he explained how he soaked it in RO water then salt water for a number of days, and he researched that it was safe for marine life... OMG.. I wanted to pull it out be didn't want him to feel bad[emoji20]... I went on line and read that its safe and resin made... it looks really nice in my tank..and I hope it doesn't cause any harm.. what do ya'll think?
