Years ago I used to dose vodka to my 125 gallon reef tank for nutrient export. If I remember correctly, I thought the water looked significantly more clear after dosing. Does anybody dose specifically for water clarity and any general guidelines in doing so?

Anyone who doses any of the carbon products is basically doing that (NOPOX is one, there are many others)

I've been running chemipure blue and change it every 2 months. Thought of low dose even 1mL daily in terms of aquarium media it doesnt get much more cost effective than vodka dosing. That makes sense nopox or others arw achieving the same goal. Cost to cost it seems hard to beat.
