Ok, killing a little time while doing a water change. Was wondering if anybody else was doing this today. What size tank and how much are you changing today. Also how much water had hit the floor so far.. Lol

Here's mine:
90 g. System. Fighting a nitrate problem so I'm changing 40g. Today
About 2 gallons on the floor so far....and my 3 year twins had nothing to do with it... Haha

No water change today, even though I should be, terribly busy weekend.

Did some coral relocation today, I really need to get to the craft store and pick up some super glue gel so I can finally glue down these corals. Too much stuff scattered on the sandbed.

Must be awesome to have two little helpers!!

87g Display , 40 Breeder sump. Changing 15g today , nothing on the floor so far (only because I haven't started the change LOL ) I normally do 15g every sunday , and 5g sometime in the middle of the week.

WC yesterday before I hit up Preuss' for a frogspawn and big fat purple and pink chalice. Oh yeah, and a cherub angel... 3.5 gal on a 20 gal nano

240 FO just did a 60 gal. water change. using a transfer pump from Home Depot - so NO water on the floor. RO/DI is just outside the back door with a 30 gal. fresh water collection can and 2 - 44 gal. Salted cans.

I also have another 7 year old boy has 2 tanks of his own (one his his class gold fish, he was the only one fed them after the newness wore after a week, so his teacher asked him to take care of them for the summer). If I ever get a bigger tank I definitely have to get a better set up for water changes!

Changing out around 8 gallons today on my 40g. Had three fish die recently, so I'm still getting all my levels back in check. Horrible reefing week for me, very sad to see some of my favorite fish kick the bucket.

water change for me today! Looks like you have yourself some helpers. My lil guy loves to help. I should have NO water hitting the floor lol. I got fed up with lugging buckets around and made the plunge to put in a mixing station in the basement that is plumbed straight up to my sump :) the waste water drains from a hose out the front door haha. 2 min water changes now a days thank god!!

I'm doing 35 gallons on my 240. I let kids switch off every water change. I pay $4 per change and they are responsible for watching water level in bucket and holding hoses while I empty buckets. Each spill cost $1. We usually don't have more than 1 quick spill if any.

I vaccumed my sump, cleaned my protein skimmer cup, mounted a couple of corals I purchased last weekend, and did around a 15% change.

Did mine yesterday on my 100 about 15 %.

Nothing today. I usually do a weekly water change of about 50%, but seeing as how I have corals now I may start doing 20% or so twice weekly instead to keep params more stable. I also thoroughly clean my filter once weekly to remove trapped detritus.

Nope, no water changes today --- had a 30 mile charity bike ride today. Been doing a lot of rides lately and slacking on the water changes. Plan on spending some quality time with my 40 breeder on Tuesday evening; perhaps 10 gallons, but for sure 5.
