I know I sure am! With all the shows being cancelled so far this year I have been home quite a bit more and went from a bad tank situation to being really excited again! Usually as the summer starts slowing down, reefing starts picking back up with people. I have had a couple recent coral frag shipments that have me really excited and then have another coming this week! I'm also excited about the new direction of my tank!

What about you? Anyone else getting FIRED up?

Anything new that's got you excited?

I’m finally winning the battle against hair algae that I’ve been dealing with for the past month or so. Actually felt good enough about it to add a few new corals this weekend. They opened up right away and are very happy now! So I would say I’m pretty fired up about it!

I’m for sure getting excited! Although having some issues still other things are doing well! My monti spongodes is getting its color back and my Superman digi is finally growing again and killing of the algae on itself!

I am stoked. My hard green algae is turning white. My corals are all starting to grow. Unfortunately I only have about 2 more months to get any livestock. So funny that reefing is busy in the winter. It won't be above freezing for about three months so I will have to be happy with what I got.

HA yes and GO BRAVES!

I’m into it right now. After months of issues, mostly due to me being away for months, I’ve spent a lot of time getting things back on track.

When my tank is looking bad, it’s less satisfying to work on it, so I work on it less. Now that I’m seeing improvement, I’m back in the game.

All my tanks looking really good recently. Its funny, when I keep with with little things, like keeping glass clean, everything looks much more clear and I enjoy it more (who would have thought)?

An ATI Sunpower is arriving tomorrow to replace my LEDs. I'm really looking forward to less bells and whistles.

Always fired up walking in the house from a day of work and seeing the fish swimming and ready for food! Plus once i see the first spec of coralline algae in my 210g its game time!!

For sure getting fired back up again. Last few months have been discouraging with my Nitrate overdose mishap. Couple floods. Getting flow right. Things are finally starting to settle back in and take of again!

I am in the process of moving and planning a upgrade at the same time. So yes getting stoked. Not looking forward to the move and tear down of this tank, but I have it planned out so hopefully not too bad

I'm all fired up over my 180 build, yes been taking pictures so I can do a build thread when its up and running.

Lately my tank has fallen to neglect due to my discouragement about cyano, but last night I took a look at the tank and several corals I though dead and gone were growing back and glowing brightly! It gave me a second wind and I'm planning on doing a water change soon to remove some returning bacteria.

I sure Am. I sold my 560 gallon last year then got it back. Lol. Made a whole bunch of changes to the way it was set up after dreaming of how I wished I could do it different the whole time I had it. Now I’ve had it for a few months I’m seeing how much better it runs with the new improved filtration and I’m loving it.
