Anybody else use the pre mixed saltwater nutri?

Idk I switched over to this stuff and after 5 years of mixing my own salt I can actually see the coral growing for the first time …jw anyone else’s experience? I downgraded to a 36 from a 75 and mixed one 4 gallon every 2 weeks ….let me know what you think?!

I’m really unsure why anyone would personally the cost per gallon for premixed salt is crazy vs mixing your own.

What salt were you using prior and how were you mixing it?

I was using reef crystal and it just didn’t do the same I also tried another brand ocean something I think but this water imo kicks butt compared to them it’s expensive but idk everything looks so much happier

And I’m only changing 5 gallons every 2 weeks which is 20 bucks which is a lot still definitely…,just wanted to see if anyone else used it and the results

And I Would mix the salt with a heater and a power head for 24 hours when I used to mix my own

Reef Crystals mixes pretty high when it comes to alkalinity/calcium/magnesium. There’s a chance the issues you were having were induced by the rapid increase of Alk after water changes.

How often are you testing your parameters?

I'm getting a 20 gallons already fully set up and I need to know what measurements of salt I should use for a tank that small, I've only ever done coral tables and massive systems.

I used it on my 75 gallon for 5 years now I had to move start over and have been using this pre mixed stuff ….on my 40 gallon ….the only thing is the magnesium is alittle high but idk I just feel like my corals this time around are doing way better you can almost watch my hammers grow I swear but using the regular salt I barley saw Amy difference….maybe it’s in my head but almost 5 months in this water rocks I’ll gladly pay more for it or maybe I’m just doing something different this time idk

There aren’t measurements like that it’s already comes in a jug take a ole jug fill it up with tank water to the top line empty fresh jug in boom easy and simple …especially for us with little tanks I highly recommend this product

Every 1-2 weeks I’ll test it but nothing crazy ….like I said the mag is alittle high but nothing insane I guess that’s just what’s in this water…for the record I know I’ll get yelled at I put a anemone 2 clowns a blue hippo tang and 2 hammer corals all the same week of setting up the tank ….i know the water has nothing to do with swinging parameters and them all surviving it’s just that I wanna believe it lol I couldn’t keep a any corals my last tank for about a month and a half everything would just die

could be the beneficial bacteria in the water that is making the coral happier. I use IO salt mix but will use Imagitarium Pacific Ocean when I haven't the time to mix. But I dose bacterial and since doing so I have experienced an absent if noticeable nuisance algae/bacterial and happier corals

I could always just get store water, I'm there three times a week anyway. Though I'd still like to get the hang of proportions for tiny tanks down. I have 10g buckets that I'd be using for water changes. Topups would be RODI

Could definitely be…..I don’t spot feed either so imo this water is the shizznet @naturesocean
