Just purchased a red sea max130d 2nd hand and it came with this light timer and no directions. Does anybody at least know the name?

Yep, no problem. Be sure to let us know how it works out. I don't know much about lighting, especially that timer. I'd be interested to know if you get it working.

Soo ive been fumbling with this nonstop and just nothing works. I decided to just mess around with the stock timer. I found the knobs that dim and brighten so thats cool. But i started messing with the stock timer and it works. So this question may truly show the wetness behind my ears, but does the stevesleds.com hardware sync with the stock timer?!

Did that make any sense to you? Yeah me either! I'm actually a Sys Admin and am fairly technical...I don't even know what an LED driver is haha.

My guess is that the stock timer is just a simple analog timer and allows the main lights or moon lights to be either on or off. The stevesled device is a controller that allows you to run a custom program that will ramp up and down the lights by specifying what percentage the lights run at a given time.

That's my best guess, you may want to try in one of the more specific forums like the one for lighting.
