My mandarin gobies were spawning all the time until newly added six line wrasses harassed them incessantly. I had to oust my spawning yellow clown gobies because they were ripping skins of acroporas to lay their eggs and irritating the acros. The six line wrasses paired up and the small female was looking very gravid until the male jumped out. I no longer raise clownfish or bangai cardinal, but they spawn all the time. I am not feeding them black worms, but they spawn on various food that I feed them including some live food. I know some are obligate feeders and won't pay much attention to other food, but some do convert to other kind of food including blackworms and Grindal worms. I must say my husband Reilly has been an angel putting up with me keeping all sorts of live foods for my fish, corals, dart frogs, etc. He does object for little gnats, especially in his coffee...

I feed them to my discus fish but not my reef don't won't uneaten worm roting and pollute my water I like my acro's to not be brown. But if it was a softie tank id give it a try my wrass would probably love them

I've always used live black worms to keep my chaoti wrasses alive long enough for them to start eating frozen food currently doing so with one now plus all the other fish love it aswell

OK, tell the owner (Manny)that you know me, he won't give you a discount, but he won't throw you out either.

I haven't told my wife we have a fish tank yet.

Somebody post a picture of a black worm. I'm trying to decide how to tell M@ry Ruth that I want to put live worms in the fridge.

I don't typically feed blackworms as a staple...but I always make sure to have some on hand when I get a finicky fish. I also like to pick them up for a snack every now and then. There's a LFS here that sells them for $1 a spoonful. That doesn't sound like much...but that's enough to feed my tank several times. The fish go nuts for them...I don't have a fish that doesn't gobble them up.

The Aquarium Shop sold all of their blackworms yesterday so I wasn't able to purchase any. I will try again the next time I am in Huntsville.
