Anybody have a really grown out Chalice?

Doing general internet searches, I just keep coming up with pictures of frags, or wild colonies, and I honestly just don't have a good idea what a big grown out chalice colony looks like in a reef tank.

I'm running out of time before mine starts to outgrow the frag plug it's currently on and just can't figure out how I'd want to place it for the long term.

Some are more encusting while other may plate. My hollywood stunner grew like a monti cap

I had a very large mummy eye chalice and it grew like a cap but unlike a monti cap, it did. It scroll. Mummy eyes have stingers that kill any corals nearby so I had to sell it.

Very nice looking stunner! I guess I just need to wait and see what mine will do, if it'll plate or encrust. It's grown a bit since this picture, just about to hit the edge of the plug.

i picked up a 'small' frag that fell off a large stunner colony a few weeks ago......

Seeing colonies like that is just inspirational. My stuff is healthy and slowly growing, but haven't really taken off yet.

This was a 2 yr old colony I grew from a half inch frag. Was over 4 inches before My heater broke and things just died.
