I wanted to get a blue line angel, but was looking for someone that has had experience with them. I currently have a majestic angel in my 180 and he roams around just minding his own business. I also have a sailfin tang, goldspot rabbitfish, six bartlets, flame wrasse pair, and snowflake clown pair. It's a very peaceful environment so far. I hate to disrupt the peace. How do you feel about adding the blue line?

Bump!

One of my favorite fish. Had one about 8 years ago. It liked to hide within the live rock and was not aggressive at all however it was the only large angel in my tank. I do not thing the majestic would respond very well if you added another large angle. I have seen it done though. If you have had the majestic for a while you may have to move around the rock right before adding the blue line so the majestic does not act as territorial. Lights out helps out too. This has been my experience with multiple dwarf angels anyway.

Majestic Angels are normally very timid as is the Blue Line . If Blue line is larger then shouldn't have a problem . I have kept a Blue Line and a Red Sea Regal together and wouldn't bother each other . Not saying it is a sure thing so separate them in same tank for at least a month. Egg crate can save a fishes life .

The blue line that I was eyeing is smaller then my majestic. I should probably just forget about it. I'd really hate to disturb the tank at this point. I was just hoping to add another big fish.
