Anybody Have Rock Flower Anemones ?

Just ordered two rock flower anemones anyone have tips on keeping them with other coral ??

They are pretty easy. I find that they don't move much. Obviously don't have them touching another coral. A feeding every week or two might be nice (I prefer to feed smaller foods more frequently than large foods every so often). I don't have one in my tank but have them at my work.

Thanks for the info I have a bunch of rbta’s in my tank wasn’t sure if they touched at some point if that would be bad.I’m gonna try to keep them in the sand hopefully but I have a bullet goby so not sure if that’s a great move either.

You can always use a small piece of rock rubble and keep it on that

Nothing to them. I have one that moves around and the other 3 stay stationery.

They move around. I had one that would go from one side of the tank to the other.

I have 1 who has moved from the sand to the coral skeleton I have. It's currently halfway up and seems very happy. It's in the same area as the mandrins target feeder and the brine shrimp drift into the coral skeleton where the mandrins hang out picking at pods and the brine shrimp.

It's the common zebra stripe white,tan. Cool animal.

Love my rock anemone. It hasn't budged since placed in the tank, and we actually have an emerald crab that has staked claims to the rock that it attached to.

I have purchased around 30 or so. Some move, some don’t. Not really a huge issue with them stinging other corals. They are pretty easy to care for and are certainly beautiful! Especially under the blues in the evening time. You could make your tank look like a scene from Avatar if you bought enough of them. It pays to shop around though.
I’ve found the least expensive place to purchase them is salt critters. What irritates me is when a beautiful specimen decides to hide on the back side of the rock work!! I wish they would all stay put!!! It’s really hard to color coordinate things when your painters pallet is moving around!!! Lol!! I’ve found they’re more likely to stay put if placed on a rock that has a small hole where they can place their foot. That and feeding them encourages them to stay put. Seems i was reading somewhere a lot of the brightly colored ones are collected from deeper waters. So they don’t really need a whole lot of light.

Had one come as hitchhiker on live rock. Made it all the way through reef cycle. Ended up in sump after cycle totally bleached out from non light.
My wife fell in love and has since rescued that one as well as picked up another from local lfs.
They are very hardy. I feed them medium sized mysis shrimp everyday and they are getting huge.

Fell in love with rock flowers. Very easy to keep and are very cool to look at in the tank. They all have moved from where we originally placed them and now stay put like a close knit family. 2 more arriving on Friday.
