I saw this picking/pecking at an SPS frag in my tank, any IDs???

Bristleworms for the most part are harmless scavengers.

Agreed, and most are just a part of a healthy Reef's bio-diversity. I have several hundred within my system and would only remove one if LARGE or caught in the act of doing something I wish it had not....

The head makes me lean toward it being a young eunicid worm, not a regular bristle worm. Definitely not a welcome inhabitant.

Someone else mentioned Eunicid, I was thinking maybe phyllodocidae???

It was removed but I'm still curious, it was my frag/QT tank so all is good-besides all frags are getting a bayer dip tomorrow so any other stragglers won't survive

Doesn't look like bristle worm at least not any one the ones I have seen hope u tossed it
