Pazazz...you are totally nuts...you post pics of the same things with ever so subtle differences because of the lighting they are under...and call them them different names!

I am glad to hear your eye can see every color in every different type of lighting.

Where do you get off saying I call them different names ? I have not called them any differnet names....

Ok...

..I don't claim to be an expert...but...I do see a significant difference between what Marv claims to be rainbows (looks nothing like a rainbow - not a shot at you Marv) and what most of you and I have posted throught out the thread (see below)

The "Candy Apple Redd" like most zoos and palys does have a slightly different pattern to it. The have a reddish-orange skirt and not as much of a color bleed into the mouth of the paly.

I have seen Pazazz's tank and I can say that there is a difference between the two.

but i thought these were candy apple reds? i got them from david, so they should be, yet mine have blueand green skirts

Zoa's can and do change color or fade with lighting. Usually reds and pinks explode with color in my tank from the 10k's, but the blues turn brown.
I could show ya browns and throw them in a tank in 20k and a month later be blue again.

the thing about the Rainbows are there is a couple of morphs out there... the main difference is the size of the green center.. the pink is pretty much standard.. I've spoken with different suppliers and they have verified the difference... I have two or three different variety and when they settle, I have a feeling that they all would look very similar...

either way, I think those are all very nice morphs... good discussion though and nice pics everyone.. :)

Just my opinion...I think your full of it!

Just listen to yourself!

Looks like some of us like to contribute to a thread and other just find the need to be hateful... Just my opinion. Well like they say there is one in every crowd!

Thanks for your great contribution to this thread.

Ps. The only thing that is full is my tank of palys and zoas... lol

I tell it like it is. If you take what I said as hurtfull...than I guess it doesn't take much.

The truth about this community is that we all enjoy what we do with the hobby...but you feel the need to throw your corals and "knowledge" around like you are some sort of "prima donna"

I know that you have everything and know everything...there are one of those in every bunch as well!

Look at the pic very carfully and you will see.

Actually, I found this to be hateful.

Guess it depends on who reads it, eh, Pazazz? I think Stix just has read enough of these that he probably reads your posts with the same aggregate tone... I know I do.

Can everyone just calm down?? Lets just say they are very nice zoa's(that i would like to have either way) and end it.....

This as well I found to be hateful.

I don't buy from you or trade with you because of this tone. Sometimes it is better to be humble than to be an expert... Take a breath, take a moment, and then remember what is really important- I think you will find it isn't the palys or the zoas- it's the people. Without other people to admire them with, a tank full of the best corals gets you absolutely no where.

Well, they aren't the rainbows that reef kingdom puts out, but they are still very nice. I would buy yours before spending $100 per polyp on the others. In fact I am going to right now.
