This stuff-

https://premiumaquatics.com/products/seachem-gray-coast-substrate-22-lbs.html

About ten years ago I remember grabbing a bag of substrate at Petsmart of all places that went by the product name "Anthracite" as far as I remember, and I really liked the stuff. It wasn't super uniform in size, but I sifted it to get smaller grain for the two nano setups I was doing. It turned out great- a nice medium gray color that wasn't as dark as black indo sand, but a bit more refined than the bright white that was so common at the time.

As far as I can tell this may be the same product, and I was interested in grabbing a bag depending on how it looked, but nobody local has it to look at! Does anybody run this stuff currently? I've heard of a handful of planted tank folks running it or cichlid setups, but rarely are there any listed grain sizes available. I'm hoping to be somewhere around the reeflakes/mesoflakes size on the majority of it.

Bump (and Happy New Year))!

Well I just grabbed 9 bags of it. Need to source another 6-11 bags lol.
