Anybody trying the ORA red goniopora??

Has anybody here tried these yet? I know wild specimens are doomed in many cases to an early demise in most tanks, as well as have the potential to be very unforgiving to neighbors. I've got a big open area on my sandbed and might be willing to give it a go if I get some positive feedback. I've always loved these, and love the movement they give to a tank. However, I'm unwilling to support the collection of species with such a dismal record. Thanks everyone.

I have had one, albeit for only around a month, but it has quickly become one of my favorite corals in the tank. It gets blasted with flow and seems to really like it. Red gonioporas have a better track record than the greens, and considering this is multi-generations from the original coral pulled from the ocean, I think it is about as safe a bet as you can get on these.

I purchased one on black friday. It was a 1 inch frag from a peice about the size of a baseball. It has about doubled its number of polyps in the month that I have had it. It is now one of my favorite corals in my tank! The polyp extension on mine is 2+ inches. I keep mine in lower lighting and lower flow.

Here is where I got mine from. Premium Florida Ricordea | Maxi Mini Carpet Anemones | Coral Frag Packs They are 15 dollars for a one inch peice and they grow extremely fast. He does not have them listed on the site but If you contact him I know he still has some.
