When in doubt take them out. They're not some form of stometella possibly are they? They look to big to be flat worms.

I did remove them. They were in the bag of black worms that I've been feeding my tank

Blackworms are freshwater creatures, so these guys would be too. Not really certain what they are, but a small leech seems a possibility.

That's what they looked like to me but I dismissed my own idea

I don't remember their name but it is another type of worm that grows in the same cold water as they culture the blackworms in. They are tough and fish usually don't like the texture. I know this from experience and being told to just pick them out when I see them.

Yes they will die pretty quickly in saltwater. So you are safe.
