I bought 10 trochus snails, 3 electric Blue hermit crabs, 2 nassarius snails who dug down. Is this enough? So far it has only gotten worse. My DT is 75 gallon

Definitely hair algae.....unfortunately I think CUC is overrated when it comes to cleaning that stuff out. They will help maintain it when it is very short....anything long like you have won't be touched without manual removal and nutrient control....unless you can get your hands on a Sea Hare. I would also add some algae eating fish if possible.

Looking at the algae you have with the yellow glove, its fern like. Definitely bryopsis, no cuc Will eat it. You also have some GHS in the tank as well. Reef Flux will take care of the bryopsis in a few days and GHA will take longer, just follow the instructions. Good luck.

A product as in a chemical? Unfortuantely I don't recommend any unless you have a coral free tank. Some products will work but they can come with a risk to coral (Vibrant and fluconazole come to mind). Your best bet is manual removal, nutrient control, addition of CUC, and algae eating fish.

The only product is your hands and a tube with a filter sock. Siphon as much as you can through a filter sock a few times a week.

I had the same in my 80g total jungle. When I added 2 turbos and 3 tuxedo urchins it was gone in less then a month. Cut lights back to 6 hours with blue and uv only no whites. Raise magnesium to 1500. Lots of manual removal also but get some turbos and urchins.

Second this, they don’t like long algae. They’ll go after algae turning white from peroxide like it’s candy.

Thanks for the advice. I removed 85% of the algae from the tank, and the next day it was going back almost immediately. Is this normal?

Yeah.....definitely won't be easy. It will require you to stay on top of it while keeping everything else in control.
