Anyone attempted CP in their DT?

Wanted to know if anyone has tried Chloroquine Phosphate treatment in their fish only display?
Long story short, I had fallowed the tank for 80 days last year and treated the fish in a QT with CP, 2 rounds of General Cure and an additional 30 days of observation. Thought all was a success and placed all the fish back and within 2 weeks, saw my Clown tang flashing the sand bed but no visual signs. Fast forward 3 months and all the fish are showing signs and are visibly stressed. I lost most of my corals due to an ongoing nuisance algae problem so I can easily take the remaining corals out vs all the fish into a QT tank. Also I have little faith that the fallow period had eradicated the parasite anyway so hence the question of dosing the display with Chloroquine Phosphate.
Has anyone tried and had success with this and did you have to increase the dosage due to the substrate absorbing the medication?
Will it kill inverts such as snails and crabs?

Humblefish has and does not recommend it as the meds will fall below therapeutic levels enough to completely eradicate the parasites. More info in the thread below.

I've read the primer before but can you tell me if your dosing 40mg, 60mg or 80mg per gallon in your DT?
Is it sand and rock that makes up your substrate?
Do you have snails and crabs in the tank? I know the primer said CP is not reef safe but was not specific.

I have full details posted on humblefishes forum.

This tank has had the corals removed but some inverts remain. Some snails died, an urchin died. Some snails, an urchin and a cleaner shrimp remain alive.

CP is an algicide and I believe kills corals by killing the zooxanthellae. Inverts may or may not make it.

This is in an established display tank with live rock and a shallowd sand bed. I tried h2o2 dosing first, but the fish were going downhill too fast so I switched to CP.

I dosed 40mg/gal then waited 24 hours and dosed 40mg/gallon again. Then followed with 4mg/gal maintenance dose everyday to offset biodegradation. I am currently seeing signs that I think are from CP overdose so I am reducing the maintenance dose.
