I'm getting saltwaterfish.com vibes from their website, and both websites are located in Vero Beach florida... Are these guys legit or sketchy? (everything is super super cheap).

Thanks

A few of the vendors are consigners so they share the same pics from the wholesaler. Aqualocker owner(s) seemed to have had a few different cosigner businesses with different sales methods and ended up closing. Think it was more from a wholesaler-retailer issue than lack customers. Don't care for that style of shopping personally for corals or fish but I will pick up CUC items from saltwaterfish.com occasionally.
If they have something your interested in send them a message and ask any questions or concerns you have about buying beforehand.

I mistakenly thought they were stealing photos from saltwaterfish.com and when I called them on it I found out they had permission and have some sort of a relationship with them.

I have ordered from reefs4less.com and have been happy. I had the concern also before I placed my first order but I had No issues what so ever and I found the pricing really reasonable. Based on my experience I would recommend.

I placed an order from them this week. I mistakenly believed to be buying from a Florida based company. (Vero Beach) The prices were good and I wasn't worried about the stress of shipping.
My package was due to arrive by noon yesterday. It is sitting in Wilmington, NC. The shipping ticket says it is coming from Vero Beach, yet the point of pick up was California. I'm pretty much expecting DOA or sick critters.
You get what you pay for.

I ordered from reefs4less, got my order in today.

This company drop ships from Quality Marine -- the same wholesaler that has supplied (or did, anyway, prior to the doctors taking their money and running; still a bit sore about all that) Live Aquaria for years. Not sure why R4L isn't not up front about how they operate -- the whole bit on their website about how they pack the fish is cute and all, but I'd put more faith in a reputable wholesaler rather than some relative unknown pushing wit and bargain prices -- but that's what's going on.

I suppose the real test of the company would be how they respond to a DOA claim (LA was famously good about dealing with this fairly, I recall). R4L offers payment by PayPal, so there is an extra layer of buyer protection in place, and that makes for a more confident purchase, I think.

The fish I ordered (Halichoeres melanurus, Centropyge ferrugata) were delivered (picked up at FedEx) in excellent condition, were of perfect quality, generously sized, and packed well. And the prices were fair. I'll be ordering again, most likely.

Put in an order in Sept, on a Sunday and the 3 fishes (blueface, juvenile emperor, female blue throat trigger) arrived nice and healthy (chunky) on Tuesday (i still did put them thru QT and doing well in my DT today). This was just 2 days delivery from FL to CA, which was awesome.

They were very responsive to email
(even for a Sunday) when I messed up my shipping address by a number. It was quick rectified and got my fish delivered to right address.

I will use them again as they have great prices for the fishes I was looking for.

I ordered from reef4less once and that will be the last time. I ordered 3 fish and they were shipped in tiny bags with very little water and no air. All 3 fish were DOA. They only offer credit for DOAs but I was very firm in their poor packing that they gave me a refund. You get what you pay for. Buyer beware

One of 2 Trachyphyllia were DOA. One was supposed to be red, maybe they got
It mixed up because both were yellow/ green and one was dead not red. Fish were alive and happy. Day 2 and no word back via e-mail on the DOA guarantee. Time will tell

The one and only time I ordered from saltwaterfish.com the fish shipped from Cali. I'm in Florida as well so I thought I would be getting "less stressed" fish. Pretty sure reefs4less is the same business. Fish arrived in awful condition and if I remember within a month they were all dead. Never again. I can only assume neither of these entities handle the fish. They are a broker of some sort would be my guess.
