got a ton of these in a rubber made tote that i have been aging dry rock for about a year. started with dry rock new out of the box & added a few chunks of rock from my 240DT to help seed the dry rock, so they must have came from my DT. i have trochus, turbo, & margarita snails in the DT. i thought baby trochus?, i ran a search for snail id & it looks like it could be a limpet, but i cant find a single one in my DT. what do you guys think?

thanks for the response. i have hundreds in the rock tote & can find zero in my DT. i wonder if my wrasse are eating them & just wiped them out in the DT ? thanks for the confirmation.

Reef safe algae eater and wrasse may have a hard time getting to it as it’s well covered by shell unless it flips it over

Thanks for your input. That's what had me second guessing, I searched on here first & pic's looked like limpets, but I search the 240dt for a few days now I can't find not one. so thought maybe baby trochus or their just getting munched by the wrasse in the DT. Thanks for sharing your experience with them.

Something must be having a feast on them in the DT! They are extremely difficult to remove from rocks and glass due to their ability to really suck down strongly. I would imagine it would take some work or a strong beak to really get through to them, though.
