Anyone check Salifert ph test for accuracy?

With winter in the Northeast I start to get concerned about ph. I have a gas fireplace in my living room along with the tank. I run an outside line to my skimmer and run a fuge with reverse lighting. My Salifert test always reads the same at about 7.9. Has anyone found this test to be accurate or otherwise.

I've always had luck with accuracy if the test was within the date. After expiration is another story.

Ph kits are rather inexpensive so you could always check the results with another brand of test.
