Anyone done a floating reef in a nano??

Hey guys. Im setting up a 15 gallon nano tank. Plan is to have mostly rock flower nems, sexy shrimp since they host them and a pistol/watchmen goby pair. I want to attempt the floating reef look! Anyone have any suggestions about how to go about it?? Im looking at gluing a corner cut piece of acrylic and have acrylic poles on the bottom to support. Any one have any ideas besides this?
