Everyday... "daddys chair" sits right next to the tank and generally has a neatly folded hand towel draped over the back. That's my get lost in the tank space.

Shoot yeah! I am that kid! The wonderment you can see in that child is huge motivating factor for me in this craft. Even as a 40yr old man, I have been face pressed against the glass at a public aquarium. We are beings of water and light, how can we not be drawn to the chaotic splendor of the reef?

This happens far too often....
I went down to empty my skimmer cup last night....it took 3 hours. Probably looked like this is most of the time.

I've been that way since I was a kid and at 78 haven't changed a bit. I takes me forever to get anywhere on a road trip because if I travel though a city with a public aquarium I have to stop to check it out. Wife: "But honey, we've already been to that one." Me: "But they probably have some new fish or corals that we haven't seen." I have an ottoman that I put on casters so I can roll it right up to the tank. My wife calls it "The Staring Stool".

i ALWAYS feel like that kid! Lol It’s not only fun to watch these beautiful creatures, but it helps to identify issues if you have a regular habit of really observing their behavior and appearance. I sometimes can’t believe that my husband walks by the tanks and barely gives a glance!!! Funny thing is it was his idea to get into saltwater! He’s probably just having buyers remorse because he turned his wife into a coral addict! Hahaha
