Anyone else find the aqualifter as too weak?

I can't seem to see how this can be used as an ato top off. Is there a better pump that works the same way? Because a can't stick a pump inside the ato reservoir. Suggestions are appreciated

The BRS 50ml ATO pump works great for me.

I Found that with the aqua lifter the pump must be oriented a certain way to function. I didn't like it because as my water level in the reservoir lowered the flow from the pump reduced significantly and that's a problem when you run your ATO on a timers and not controlled via a switch.

My issue with the aqua lifter is that the reservoir is on the floor and my AIO tank opening is 4.5 ft above so it couldn't pump up to that height.
I ended up using a Sicce 1 inside the reservoir and it work perfectly with my hydor ATO.

I, too, switched away from the Aqualifter pumps. At lower ATO levels, they were too slow and my Hydor ATO would time out (producing a frequent, annoying beep). I went with one of these small Jebao pumps, and it works very well.
