Anyone else hate mounting corals?

Drill frag holes in live rock before scaping.
Or mount to smaller pieces of rock that can moved around if necessary

My blue neon goby immediately jumps on and starts pulling at my arm hairs to "clean" me. I also used to have a massice old female occellaris i called the bulldog because she would grab onto the webbing between my fingers and shake.
A shower a day keeps the cleaner goby away!

“I hate “frag plugs”!!! I love coral frags? Hum? :face-with-raised-eyebrow: So some time ago, I changed the game for yours truly. I visited my lfs and grabbed a handful (5 or 6) of fist or larger sized rocks from their dead live rock box. Took them to the cashier with my other purchases and brought them home. They didn’t want to charge me for 5 rocks that weighed 1.8 lbs.:face-with-hand-over-mouth: yes, I’ve done this more than once. Got home, washed the rock, grabbed 5 frags with frag plugs. Popped them off and place a nice pea sized amount of coral glue on the rock. Dried the base of the coral frag on a hand towel. Put glue on the base as well. Married the two and immediately dipped the rock/coral into the tank water to accelerate the curing process. One done, on to the next. No unsightly round plugs in the tank, free rock:grimacing-face: place corals on the sandbed to acclimate to lighting. Everything looks very natural. As they grow, I can wedge these rocks in and around my tank. I really enjoy doing this.
