I've seen videos of how people would say they feed 1 cube of mysis/brine to 5 of their fish for the entire day and that's it and they're fish looking completely healthy, all as big or bigger then my clowns.

Yet my clowns consume that AND pellets too, they eat like pigs. Is this normal?

Yes.

If you feed them they will eat and POOP, increasing your need to clean, get nitrates/phosphates out. Clowns are the best at looking hungry. Mine is up at the glass the minute I walk up. Swimming to the surface always looking for food. He lives by the 'put it in your mouth you can always spit it out later' rule...He eats anything that floats by. Be strong, don't overfeed, you will thank yourself for it when you are not battling algae issues. My clown is big and healthy and he and his 4 tank mates gets LRS Nano Frenzy, a piece smaller than a dime one day and flake the next. Two days a week I use a bit more Nano Frenzy and spot feed BTAs and some corals.

I must confess, the answer I wanted to hear was 'sounds like they're breeding' or something along those lines lo.
:D:D
