Anyone else use Eshopps skimmers?

I ordered an EShopps axiom x-120 tonight. I ordered it because it had the best size foot print compared to the bubble magus I was looking at.

I hope it’s a good skimmer lol.

I have an older Eshopps 120 skimmer and it is well built and I have never had any issues with it.

My LFS runs a few and they always seem to be skimming when I am in there

I just bought and installed a new S-200 4th generation Eshopps skimmer.
My old SSA CS-1 was a little undersized ( my opinion) and was looking for a budget skimmer.
I picked this one because I knew the psk-1000 pump was decent one and usually ran fair quiet.
I just installed it Saturday.

Eshopps HOB Skimmer 100

So - any types on how to slow down the amount of foam - although producing skim, it isn't a dark, thick skim. I find myself having to empty the cup daily because the cup is 1/2-3/4 filled. I have tried to search solutions and can't find any that seem to work. HELP!

At a quick perusal 50% are skimmers running in, and the first one needed skimmer height adjustment.

Yeah new skimmers that needed breakin. Nano skimmers which are hard to dial in anyway.
Plus I found that the excess micro bubbles are there, but you have to balance the air intake with the outflow valve.
Not that hard to figure out.
