Anyone else use Inkbird Itc-1000f for preventive measures?

Considering installing a DIY heat controller to prevent any overheating in case my heater craps out on my 32 cube tank. I currently have one of these on my cichlid tank and it gives me a piece of mind that my heaters will not cook my fish in event of failure plus it gives me a digital readout of the tank temp.
With that does anybody else have the DIY heater controller and utilizing the inkbird itc1000f or are you guys using something else. This is a fairly cheap diy. Thanks.

I actually use the same one but for my cooling fans.

Me too, one for each heater. Apex determines when to turn them on/off, but the Inkbirds have a max temp setting of 82 just in case Apex goes wonky. Heaters themselves are the 'dumb' Finnex Titanium ones - no thermostat in them.
