LPS looking healthy and vibrant ( acans, frogspawn ) but gorgonian - dead, Kenya - turned to mush, green Kenya hanging in there but super small and compact.

Tank just cycled but water parameters are good -

Ca - 460 Nitrate - ~20
Alk - 9 Nitrite - 0
SG - 1.25
76°

Trip to lfs to buy the hardest to kill thing I know of - Xenia. Lasts for one hour then completely shrivels to 1/10 of the length and “fingers” look super brittle.

LFS says bad batch of fake rock, says it only affects soft coral and that it’s a “chemical burn”. Never heard of this before. Input or ideas? Anyone else have this happen to them?

Temperature range- 77-79
Salinity 1.024-1.026
Moderate light and water flow. Not fond of Bright light(whites)
A little iron in the water.

ASSURE YOU ARE NOT GETTING FALSE SALINITY READING (calibrate if you can) They need a little nitrate but yours is a tad high
