I have an outer orbit fixture with the 6 pack of led's. They are ok but would prefer to have looks of the powerbrites. I can't put powerbrites on the tank because the fixture is exposed and they just wouldn't look very good stuck to the underside of the fixture. Plus they would be too close to the water and not have enough room to spread out. The fixture is about 12" off the water.
I don't think it would take much to replace the current led's with something a bit more powerful and then diffuse the light with a small lens or something. Anyone ever do this with success? Any ideas?
