Anyone ever seen a lawnmower blenny eating flake?

Maybe I've never paid attention? My tank doesn't have a ton of algae right now and I watched my lawnmower blenny eating flake food tonight... is this common and I've just never paid attention?

I had one years ago that would only eat flake.

My lawn mower eats both algae & the meaty fish mix I feed the other fish. He likes to take a shot at my hand also !

Mine eats literally anything. Mysis, table shrimp, oyster, nori, flake, pellets, algae. I don’t think I could starve him if I tried LOL.

I've seen him pull the full sheets of nori off the sides of my tank. I've just never paid attention I guess to the others I've had!

Mine will seriously eat anything that is fed, probably why it always looks like it’s about to pop lol
