Anyone ever seen something like this?

Nice! Mine took quite a while to actually drop..I'm thinking a couple weeks if I remember correctly.

Is that a urchin I see hope it's spines don't poke your corals too much or eat them . If it's not a urchin what is it . It's behind the zoas

That is an urchin! It came on the LR as a hitch hiker. It seems to keep my glass free of coraline so that's why I keep him in there. However it is a pain with how much he knocks stuff around.

I am wondering if I should put a frag plug underneath it to rest on, perhaps that would help speed up the process.

Might get knocked off by flow or tank inhabitants. If there is any exposed skeleton you can glue it down with a dab of superglue gel.

The coral still retracts it quite a bit. I gradually turned my MP10 down from 100% to 25% over the past few days for it so that it is not blowing around too much. I cant glue it without taking the entire rock that the colony is attached to out, that would just be messy. Any other ideas, or should I just let nature take its course here and monitor it multiple times a day like I have been :).

I think it is going to drop soon!!!! It is looking very thin now. It also looks like it is showing some detachment there I am not sure.

This is the by far one of the neatest things I have had happen yet.
