Hi, Ill just start by saying that I'm treating a freshwater fish but hang in there. He's a Flowerhorn about 6-7 inches, and I think I'm dealing with Hexamita a disease commonly associated with flowerhorns from what I read. If not and that doesn't treat I'm gonna use prazipro. Anyways he's not eating but still somewhat active I added metro to the water at the suggested dose but, but am wondering if its safe to just syringe it into his mouth and if I would need to adjust the dosage from the full 160mg dose?
Note: I would also bind it to some frozen food with focus to the metroplex.

Tube feeding is a pretty standard treatment at public aquariums, and can be done at home. Check the article section here about 7 or 8 down for my medicated food article, there is a section on tube feeding in it.
Adding metro to the water in FW doesn’t work as a with SW fish, FW ones don’t intake water.
