Hey,
I have a little problem
My tank isnt completely level. I am using a CPR overflow that actually is too high.. or the water level is too low.. either one. Not sure if thats a common problem with the overflow because I have it set at the lowest setting and it doesnt look very low.
Water seems to be leaking on the opposite side of my overflow in the front top corner. It is very slow and seems to be coming from in between the glass and the top frame.
I have tried to level it a few times and it seems level and then a few days later the leak starts again. It is verrrrryyy slow.. but water and salt build up on the front and side of the glass which is very annoying.
-Has anyone ever fixed a leak in their tanks without actually taking water out?
-Are there any products out there that can seal and cure under water that will not hurt my fish or corals?
-I saw a cool video of this stuff on youtube. Wondering if this would work.. and if anyone has every tried it? orca underwater glue - Aquatic acessories - Marine Water - Aquarium Mnster - Fish like us
Any other suggestions would be considered.. buying a new tank and transferring everything over is not an option.. as I live in a small 3rd floor apartment...another scary thing because water is dripping.. right now into a small bucket.
This leak has been going on now for probably a year.. I am just getting sick of it.
I was thinking maybe to switch the overflow to the "higher water level" side as the overflow could handle a heavier water flow then the return pump is producing.
Watcha guys think?
