So now I switched to a Herbie overflow from the standard durso my tank came with. I'm left with a "u" shape in my weir from where the return pipe was.
Has anyone come up with a fix for that?
I could glue in some mesh but I'm hoping for something more clean looking.

Thanks

Don't know how this got posted here, mods please move to diy forum

Take a black (assuming your overflow weir is black) planting pot. Cut a piece to size (just a little bigger then the U) and glue it on. You can really use any black plastic but a planting pot is curved so if you get one with about the same curve as the weir it will fit pretty flush and it is thin enough so you can work with it and bend it to form fairly easy
