If so, how hard is it and where can you buy eggs?

I tried on numerous occasions (in a bucket with air bubbler) and failed. I always started with live like from Reef Nutrition. I kept thinking it must be hoodoo voodoo magic to culture these things. I finally decided to try again with Reef Nutrition's Tigger pods (a couple capfuls) but put them in an empty plastic candy container (cleaned of course) and surprisingly it's working. I feed spirulina powder and phyto (the dead stuff in a bottle.... I'm too lazy to culture live phyto) every few days. We'll see how long it works long term. Here's a pic of my scientifically calibrated and complicated setup. Haha. It's the big one on the bottom.

You don't buy eggs, you buy a bottle of copepods from the LFS, they should have several kinds (tigger, tisbe, apocyclops, etc...). Then you need a bottle of phytoplankon to feed them.

Its super easy. There are a million videos on youtube also lots of posts on this website showing different methods of cultivating them.

I have a full mix of pods in my tank that I add to. I guess they grow in there but I was hoping to grow them in addition to what's in my tank just to keep the population up.

I guess next time I buy I will divert some to a container. Do the propagate by dividing or do they lay eggs?

I was hoping to be able to just hatch them like I do the brine shrimp.

Very simple to do message me if you have any questions and I can point you in the right direction
