Those are some chunky appendages, lol. I have had mine pull in to be small when it is unhappy, but haven't had it look stubby like yours, though. If it had longer appendages previously, then maybe it is unhappy with the lighting, flow, or water quality.

It’s usually extended but pic was taken when lights were ramping down, so it was going night night

Those look like some stumpy sausage fingers! Your Duncan may be of royal decent
