Turkey baster blowing water at the foot or RODI ice cubes on foot to slowly irritate them is what I’ve seen people do so you don’t damage them

I have removed many anemones and it can be very hard to almost impossible on some and easy on others. When they are moving they are easier to remove. If the foot is in a hole in a rock it is going to be very difficult.
I have had no luck with the turkey blaster or ice cube methods. the power head method works for some although I never had any luck with it.
Placing rocks over top of them and forcing them to move to get light works well if you have time. Using half a flower pot or something with a smooth surface makes it easy to remove from there when they attach to it. Taking the rock out and suspending it above a container of water so the anemones are hanging in the water. They will eventually release into the water. I pour water over the rock while using this method every few min.
If you can get at the foot easily, you can gently pry up a corner of the foot and work your way around it slowly and gently. This is much easier on a smoth surface. They come off of glass or plastic readily.

I always use this method, successful every tine and I have never damaged the foot. I feel like it’s also important to use bare hands so you can feel what you’re doing but be careful, sometimes the sting is irritating
