I know I've seen this algae before, and I think I should know what it is, but I can't for the life of me remember.

Thanks in advance for your input!

I can't see it 2 well

Yeah, it's the best picture I could take right now....I might pull a bunch of it out of the tank and try that way.

Honestly, it looks to me like short, thick pieces of grass. I'll try to get a better pic and post it up.

Possibly Cladophora prolifera, its hard to tell from the photo, just guessing here.

That might be it.

Here's some more pics I took......about as good as I'm going to get with my cell phone I think (should really buy a camera for this stuff).

Thanks for all the feedback so far!

I think it's some kinda macro algea. It only gets about 1" long though, but grows in bunches all over the place.

It doesn't look like any bubble algae I've ever had before, but I suppose it's possible....I'm going to pull some out manually tomorrow after work and really look at it. I may just mix some baking soda and peroxide to make a paste and try zapping a little bit of it. I did dip a couple of frags and colonies in peroxide as some was starting to grow on the edges and that worked well.
