Anyone have cool eel pictures?

So I have really want an eel, but I don't have a big enough tank and funds for one. So I was wondering if anyone lucky enough to have some cool eel picks to send, it would really make my day.

Yes, the smallest species are the golden dwarf moray and could be kept in as small as 30-40g. A 20 gallon might be ok but he might need to be the only fish in there.

ok thanks do you know the best tank mate for it? could I use a 20 gallon long? I have a spare one after my peacock mantis sadly died.

You could try to pair him with a cleaner shrimp and maybe like a damsel or something but its always a risk that he may eat both.

ok, but would a 20 gal long work? I had a peacock mantis in there but he died.

Ha ha fire coming out the mouth for maximum effect ( loving it ^_^ )

Seen many of your pictures especially dragon eel as looks just marvelous but only just noticed the colouring inside the mouth also ( on a natural reef next to some colourful corals he would blend in just nice waiting in ambush I'm guessing )

Thank you, and yeah he not venomous or poisonous so id imagine the bright coloring is for some sort of camo

Could I do a 30 gallon biocube/waterbox with a Dwarf golden moray and corals?

Yeah you could definitely do something like that. You will need to do lots of water changes, skimming and/or have a big refugium to keep the nitrates and phosphates down to keep the corals happy though. Eels eat alot and produce a ton of waste so be prepared to deal with that.

ok thanks, I might just go with a 40 gallon biocube/waterbox then the more roomer the less you have to do for it
