After using vibrant i developed some small patches of green cyano in the corner of my tank. After reading others experience i decided to give chemiclean a shot. I dosed the amount that they suggested. After watching a vid online i removed my skimmer cup, allowing my skimmer to overflow adding the required oxygen to the tank.

My question is, my skimmer still appears to be running out of control 48+ hrs after the treatment. Any idea when this will calm down?

did you do the water change after the treatment?

It takes like a week. Have you done any water changes?

I have not, going on 36 hrs since i put it in. The skimmer is still going insane, i figured i would do a water change soon. Seems like most people suggest 20% change

I do a water change after 48 hrs I think. The skimmer settles down eventually. I used it last year, but darn if I can remember how long it took to settle. Sorry.
