Anyone Have Experience With Geometric Hawk Fish? Very Beautiful!

Does anyone have experience with these guys? They'd be a great addition for my 20...they're b beautiful, bottom dwellers, and inexpensive here. My only concern is their diet...how willing are they to accept prepared foods?

I have one in my 30 gal AIO. He didn’t want to eat for almost a month, now doubled in size and eats dry and frozen food .

I agree with everyone else, great fish. Mine just lounges around waiting till the next feeding.

Great fish had mine maybe 2 years. Eats all food shy reclusive peaceful doesn’t bother fish corals or inverts get it!

$17 seem absurdly low. $60 at Live Aquaria and several other online retailers. I've had mine for a couple of years. Feed mostly pellets but also about half cube of frozen LRS per day. Mine is usually perched someplace on a rock, low down under an overhang, but not hidden in a hole. I love Hawkfish, and this was my CUC-safe alternative. They do have a good reputation with most shrimps, but I haven't tested it.

I have 1 for last 5 years no issues at all, very moderate citizen

I have one currently he eats everything including flakes. Was super shy at first but now he sits in the open watching everything till you get to close and he darts away.
