I'm looking specifically people who have used it themselves. I've got two coming in today, and it looks interesting as a blended filter media. No idea if it is able to be reused or not, but I'll start the process today :)

They finally got here, and I put both into the main tank (~105ish gallons), with each one supposed to treat 75 gallons. With the cyano I'm fighting, figured it couldn't hurt. We'll see if there is a difference between today and tomorrow (the say results as quickly as 24hrs in water clarity).

Also hoping since I've got two in there, they last a little longer.

Roughly 16ish hours later, the tank is much clearer. I'm also seeing a decrease in cyano that is very noticeable from the previous day. Also every leather coral in the tank has really good polyp extension. Three that were not out in the past few days (one has been five) are all out this morning.

I'm not going to say this is the cause of the extension, but it might be enough to say its more than coincidence since they all are out today.

Going to test water tomorrow morning then do a 10g h20 change. It will be interesting to see what else if anything develops.

So a little after a day, and after adding miracle mud to the tank, the water is crystal clear, and quite a bit of the cyano is gone. Doing a 10 gallon (about 10%) h20 change in a little bit then letting tank sit for a while and testing everything to see where I'm at. Corals looks really good this morning too.

I'm impressed after a day and half how big of a change I've seen.

Interesting. I was thinking of adding to my 220g, but hesitant because I haven't seen many people use this. How's the tank doing? Do you still have it in there?

I do. In fact I'm running two (roughly 105ish gallon, they say up to 75, so I'm a little overkill. Water is very clear. I figure I'll run them in there for 3 months and then pull them. So far so good.

So almost three months later, this stuff has been working like a charm in my tank. I was skeptical at first, but it really helped clear the tank, not just in nutrients, but the water is crystal clear too. Worth a shot if you're having issues.
