Anyone here bought from fragtastic reef?

As mentioned on my title anyone have any experienced with fragtastic reef? Thinking of ordering from them but I have not heard of them before..
 
They are ok. I have ordered a couple times (their prices were pretty good), but I have a couple of other retailers I like better.
 
I’ve used them several times. They’re reliable. I use BRS, Marine depot, Fragtastic, Premium aquatics. Whoever has the best price.
 
Update on Fragtastic Reef! Stay away from them! Unless you like poor customer service! Ordered from them and haven’t received the order. Its been 7 days past the delivery date! They don’t seem to care as they won’t contact me or respond when I contacted them! Have asked PayPal for my money back!

You have unrealistic expectations. I read your other thread and you need to wait for UPS or whoever the carrier was to resolve the situation (either deliver or say it’s lost). You can’t expect companies (especially small independent companies) to just send you a second shipment before the first one is resolved (not even Amazon does that). Unfortunately, carrier delays are just part of ordering stuff online. I am confident that if and when the carrier says that it’s officially lost, Fragtastic will either send you another one or issue a refund. You doing a chargeback through PayPal is premature, chargebacks are for when a dispute is unresolvable, not for when you’re too impatient to wait for the issue to be resolved.

I don’t care one way or the other about Fragtastic (the one interaction I’ve had with them went just fine, ordered a skimmer that ended up being out of stock and on back order, said I didn’t want to wait, and they refunded my money), but I just think you’re being unreasonable, you can’t expect a refund or replacement before the carrier has resolved the issue.
 
The thread started as a question about had anyone had experience with a particular company. I gave the person my experience. How I handle my business with a company is my concern not yours. If Fragtastic had answered my e-mails at all or by saying they would look into it I would have been completely understanding. But ignoring me is not good customer service. You give your opinion when asked and I’ll give mine.

Yeah, that’s not really how a forum such as this works, if you don’t want people to give their opinions on what you post, don’t post.
 
Update on Fragtastic Reef. It’s been 23 days since I ordered from them. Still haven’t received my order. Still haven’t heard one word from Fragtastic reef even after PayPal requested an update from them. Not sure what happened to them because I’ve bought from them before and everything went ok. PayPal will give me my money back I’m sure but want everyone except Maxtremors to know about the trouble I’ve had with them!

Not trying to stir the pot, just think it was premature (at that point) to be doing a chargeback. Now that it’s been another 8 days without any reply or attempt to resolve the issue, I think it would be fair to do a chargeback. But I stand by my initial comment, demanding a replacement and/or doing a chargeback, before the carrier has resolved the shipment and without giving the seller a reasonable amount of time to resolve the issue (and calling them out by name on the main forum for the industry their business is centered around) is a little ridiculous.
 
Of course your right but at the last installment of this little story I wasn’t demanding anything. I had at that time sent multiple messages to the seller to find out why the item had not been delivered. Only after the post office tracking showed that it was several days late. PayPal’s policy is to investigate the transaction and then respond Accordingly. They try to contact the seller for for the buyer when the seller won’t respond. I was still hoping for the delivery as I needed the product and can’t afford to pay for it twice by order from someone else.

I ordered a calcium reactor last week on Monday. Sight says “same day shipping if you order before 3 and 1-3 day shipping” I ordered before 2:00 and when I still haven’t received any shipping info by wed I emailed 2x then called, then emailed again asking where my product was because I was selling my reactor on Friday so needed this on Thursday as the sight advertised.
i was told “shipping was delayed and it would be delivered on Monday“.
it’s Monday and no package!!!
I look at my emails and there’s a message from this (supposed company) telling me this product is on back order and won’t be available for 4-6 weeks!!!
Take my advice and order from a real store Don’t let their $40 savings trick you into buying from them, you’ll REGRET IT!!
Worst customer service ever!!!!!!
